The Lumen
Caligo

May your light illuminate the darkness before you.

A saga of winged hosts and the long war between light and the dark it is asked to carry — myth set against recorded history, each pressing on the other until the seam disappears. Planned across seven books; three have taken shape: Fallen, Inception, and Perdition.

Book I — The Lumen Caligo

Fallen

The beginning of the saga: a host divided, a light that must be carried through the dark, and the first of the fallen learning what a wing costs. The old order breaks, and what follows is nobody’s to command.

Book II — The Lumen Caligo

Inception

The saga turns toward ancient Rome, where empire, appetite and the machinery of power meet something older than any of them. The mythology widens; history begins to look like a record someone edited.

A skeleton in a blue pinstripe suit smoking against a cream background of swirls

Death’s Dealings
With Life

A courteous negotiator in a pinstripe suit, and the living who must answer him. He does not threaten and he does not hurry; he simply arrives, sits down, and asks what a life was for. What follows is less a haunting than a conversation — and the answers say more about the living than about him.

03

Medusa in Love

A monster who was only ever a woman. The myth returned to her, and told as what it always was beneath the telling — a story about being looked at.
